Maharajah Sawai Man Singh-II built the
Taj Sawai-Madhopur Lodge, a wildlife resort near Ranthambore, for his personal
accommodation and hunting trips to the forest, the favorite pastime of the royal
family of Jaipur. The Taj Sawai Madhopur lodge stands beside the world renowned,
famous and historical Ranthambhore National Park. The park is known for the wide
variety of flora and fauna housed by it. The Ranthambore national park is ideal
for spotting the rarely found birds and animals.

Rooms, 10 Superior Room, 2 Suites and 6 Tents. The room facilities includes running
hot and cold water, an attached bath and a telephone in each room. The Dining
room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serves both Indian and Continental
cuisines. Room service is available for morning tea and coffee only. The leisure
activities of the lodge include Swimming pool, Tennis, Croquet, Pool Table Tennis
as well as Bicycles. You also get the option of viewing Wildlife films, Yoga,
Nature Walks, Camel and Car safaris, Horse riding and more by paying a little
extra amount.
